Building Community in Solopreneurship

Breaking Solo May 19, 2025 12:30 pm

In this conversation, Gabriel Hesson shares his journey as a financial coach, focusing on helping high-earning individuals manage and eliminate their debt. He discusses the challenges he faced as a solopreneur, the importance of finding a niche, and the strategies he employs to market his services. Gabriel emphasizes the significance of daily routines and the necessity of maintaining a full pipeline of potential clients. He also reflects on past decisions and shares insights on future projects aimed at helping others avoid student loan debt. With an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and over seven years as a corporate trainer and coach, I recognized a troubling pattern among accomplished professionals: despite making good money, many were living paycheck-to-paycheck and drowning in debt with little to show for their hard work. This observation inspired me to become a certified financial coach, specializing in helping these high-earning professionals transform their financial reality. My approach isn't about complex financial theories—it's about practical solutions. My clients typically eliminate $50,000-$100,000 in debt in months (not years) using simple, proven strategies that work in the real world and allow them to finally build wealth instead of servicing debt. When I'm not helping clients transform their financial futures, you'll find me camping in the San Bernardino mountains with my kids, running along Bolsa Chica State Beach, or cheering for Manchester City during Premier League weekends. www.lifeafterdebts.com Free Gift: https://www.lifeafterdebts.com/#guide Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61573875833594 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gabrielhesson/

Overcoming Business Challenges with Resilience

Breaking Solo April 19, 2025 9:41 am

In this conversation, Jonathan Sheeley shares his journeyfrom a 10-year career in higher education to becoming a solopreneur and coach. He discusses the challenges he faced, including shiny object syndrome and the importance of life planning. Jonathan emphasizes the need for clear decision-making frameworks for leaders and the significance of setting boundaries in the solopreneur world. He also highlights the tools and daily habits that help him stay productive and focused, as well as his upcoming projects aimed at helping leaders make decisive choices. I believe there’s always a better way to lead, grow, and build a thriving business. My passion is helping small business owners and leadership teams cut through complexity, challenge the status quo, and implement strategies that drive sustainable success. Jonathon's gift https://lnkd.in/ghVszDSP After 10+ years in strategic planning and leadership development, I saw a common pattern—leaders overwhelmed by competing priorities, stuck in reactive mode, and struggling to create real momentum. I’ve been there too. When I launched my consulting practice, I had the expertise to help others, but balancing business growth, leadership, and personal life wasn’t easy. The key? A better way. Now, as a certified Business Made Simple Coach and Full Focus Planner Coach, I help small business leaders simplify decision-making, optimize their operations, and create clarity-driven action plans that actually work. How We Do It: ✅ Develop a clear vision that drives your leadership and business. ✅ Build systems that create consistency, efficiency, and freedom. ✅ Equip your team with the right tools and strategies to perform at their best. ✅ Lead with intention—prioritizing what truly moves the needle. Who I Work With: I partner with small business owners and leadership teams who are ready to break free from constant firefighting and step into proactive, high-impact leadership. If you’re tired of: 🚫 Putting out fires instead of creating a growth strategy 🚫 Feeling stretched thin by endless demands 🚫 Leading a team that lacks alignment and accountability 🚫 Struggling to balance work, family, and personal goals Website https://sheeleyexecutiveconsulting.co/ Social Media Links @sheeleyexecutiveconsulting https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathan-sheeley/ Jonathon's gift https://lnkd.in/ghVszDSP
