Of course, the biggest event in February is Valentine’s Day on February 14. Romance and love are at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts. But, to some people it’s a painful month because they are alone. Whether perpetually single, unlucky at love, or because of loss, many grieve over Valentine’s Day and seek to avoid it. Maybe while promoting couples, marriage, and love, you can also focus on some resources for those who are alone during this time of year.
February is also the month for two major sporting events. Super Bowl 53 is set for Feb. 3 in Atlanta, Georgia, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the 61st annual Daytona 500 is February 17, in Daytona, Florida. There are plenty of things to write about with both these events, from why people love sports, to vacation real estate options in both locations, to the architecture and history of both sporting venues. Again, the marketing possibilities are endless.

After repeated breakdowns with their tour bus, Holly chartered the plane to take the headline acts on to the next concert location. Investigators blamed the crash on bad weather and pilot error. Singer Don McLean memorialized Holly, Valens, and Richardson in the 1972 No. 1 hit American Pie, which calls February 3, 1959, “the day the music died.”
