]]> Do you know the story of John Goddard?  At age 15 John made a list of all the things he wanted to accomplish in his lifetime.  When he had finished his list he had 127 items that became the roadmap for his life.  Some of them were relatively common like becoming an Eagle Scout, learn to type 50 words a minute, and study Jujitsu.
Other goals that John set were a little more unusual—milk a rattlesnake, read the entire encyclopedia, and make a parachute jump.  There were also those goals that you and I might see an utterly impossible—climb Mt. Everest, visit every country in the world, and go to the moon.
Here is the amazing part, by age 47 John Goddard had accomplished 103 items on his original list of 127.
Goddard was motivated to identify his important dreams after he heard many older people say, “If only I had done this” or “If only I had done that when I was younger.”  He realized that too many people miss all the fun, excitement, and thrills of life because they do not plan ahead.
What is your Vision for your life?  Where do you really want to be in the future?  Do you have a true desire to succeed?  Everyone wants to succeed.  That’s a given!  Nobody would purposely set out to fail, but you would be surprised at how many people do just that.

Preparing for 2008 be sure of your purpose.  Become really focused on what you want to create in your life.  Know what your dreams are.  Once you are clear then put it in writing and develop a plan of action.  If you truly want to achieve those dreams you have to have an extremely high level of desire and be passionate about them.  Trust and believe you can have anything you want.  And finally make a commitment to those dreams and take responsibility for the outcome of your actions.
